A huge one going down this Friday (not Saturday – had to switch dates for whatever reason). Finally Tand is paying us a visit again, last time we had to cancel on short notice and i was MIA myself two weeks ago. So this one going down with the entire fam (cept toms on vacation) and we are glad to get back together. Hopefully Puerto Giesing is tightening up their shit, and honestly – we keep telling them people…. (P Giesing is not YUM YUM). But it seems to work better every time and we are hopefull as always.
Anyways YUM YUM this Friday will be massive – and we are looking fwd to a great night among friends and good people.

After the last fabulous and Über-massive YUM YUM a few weeks back (where even a dozen “Stormtroopers” showed up), which now already seems like years ago, we are really looking forward to this Saturday. After having put a lot of effort into the location last time, we are here to have our first night without some Football/ World Cup interference. Putting some seats here, some bars there and so forth, i think this already amazing place is getting better step by step. It just reminds me of how registratur (the venue not the people) started out. This Saturday YUM YUM munich takes place @ Puerto Giesing (check directions via google maps). After a great Start in P Gee, on one of the hottest days of the year – (seriously i dont know what happened to the weather after that) – we are looking for yet another massive night at this great venue. The first night was too much fun, just telling from all the smiling faces that have been there. The Soundsystem is really well tuned, crystal clear, booming on the dancefloor, but not screaming outside, there is enough space to dance, enough bars, there are way enough seats and couches… i could go on… the place is pretty much what this city needed. And there is more to come… like we are considering doing a concert on the roof top, maybe a classic hip hop installment. Anyhow, we still found a couple of spots which needed some improvement and we got to work on them to make us feel even more at home. So expect more and make sure to be here… this one is gonna be a hot summers dance and a massive night. See you in a bit..

Finally Puerto Giesing is having its official Opening.
After all the official hassle ist finally done and Puerto Giesing will open its gates this Friday night with its very first YUM YUM. We are real happy for this place to finally open up and YUM YUM will take place here for the next 3 months (twice a month, always on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month except of course this Friday. We promised you the kickoff and here we go – Djs will be Chrome & Notfx with a special dose of YUM YUM Summer tunes. We will try to have the entire venue figured out real nice by Friday, but of course everythings a process – just like the old Registratur was. Speaking of which they will do their parties there as well. So sounds like THE place right now. Really looking forward to this one and there are lots of good surprises planned for the next dates. Lookking forward to this friday – gonna be massive..

YUM YUM Munich, this Friday May 28th @Ex Landeszentralbank – Tucherpark. during the Stroke02 exhibition. We have been away for 5 weeks and to many it seemed like months. But this Friday ist just the start, YUM YUM will come back on a regular basis – at least for a few months – @ the now halfway legal location Puerto Giesing.
Anyways, this Fridays YUM YUM is gonna be a huge one – think last years YUM YUM Sommerfest @ Kongresshalle, in a location that was a former bank but looks more like a pyramid. You are gonna love it. Here is the entire lineup and crew:
Main floor will be run by Chrome, Max & Notfx, while the second floor (a really huge piece of dancefloor) will be run by our buddy Dj Beware & Solo from the Uk, making it a top friend floor. Also there is gonna be a live show by Lady Daisey (BBE Rec) before that. And there is even a third floor-slash-lounge and that ones just a cool relaxing floor with some smooth sounds by buddies Robin & Jojo. So this ones got it all..
Enough blah – this one will be massive and we are really looking forward to playing the latest in YUM YUM tunes to you – so see you friday

Yes hands down, i am really looking forward to seeing these guys live. I found out about Chiddy Bang, i’d say about a year and a half ago, maybe longer. Not much after that, Xaphoon the producer started sending me promo mp3s of their latest tunes and mixtapes – you know how that game goes. And its really good to see them get around a bit internationally – not only on tour, but to currently reach the UK Charts and also the German Charts, cause not only to me are they probably the coolest new hip hop band around. Their sound is different, they sample Radiohead, Hot Chip, MGMT add some fine synth sounds and have some really nice rhymes on top…..and thats exactly how they made it on May 2009 mixtape YUM YUM Vol. 9.
So this Sunday they are playing live – for the first time in Germany !!! (like Stromae did @ YUM YUM in Berlin) – come down to see them perform live this Sunday in munich, i really wanted them to play live @ YUM YUM but we simply couldn’t find any matching dates. Anyways, thank god Mondays a holiday so this is gonna be a long night with my peoples Max Mausser & D-Nice taking over the turntables after the show and making it a great Sunday night venue. This is gonna be massive

Next YUM YUM in munich will be on Fr May 28th @ Stroke 02, the Urban Art exhibition. This date has been fixed half a year ago and the lineup is really nice, with the venue being breathtaking. The building is the old bavarian national bank and there are 3 floors. The Main Floor will be the YUM YUM floor with Me (chrome), Max & Not fx playing alongside. The 2nd floor will be the top Friend floor with Dj Beware & Solo from the UK. If you haven’t heard about Solo yet, damn.. its your own fault. A live gig will come along by the name of Ladey Daisey, a new signing on BBE Rec. Think Joss Stone when she started out on some really soulful, beats, fell in love with LD’s music online and booked her right away. Floor 3 will be a chillout lounge run by some old friends of ours. Really looking ffwd to a fully planned night at an incredible venue. Think YUM YUM Summerfest last year. Gonna be massive..
So no YUM YUM munich this week & WHY WE ARE STILL GONNA WAIT BEFORE WE START AT PUERTO GIESING:
A word about Puerto Giesing: this time we have the upper hand and we are gonna wait a few parties before we move in, until the location works properly. The place is nice – we know it – but we are not gonna start doing parties in that place until the situation with the bars is worked out, the waiting line at the door is reduced, the coat check works efficently, the right people work there etc (also the legal situation is still somewhat greyish to me). At some of our recent off -locations we have had similar issues . and we figured it would be best to wait for Puerto Giesing to get it all under control before we start doing our thing. We were intended to do a party this weekend, but last saturdays one-off showed that the place isn’t fully ready…. MAIN REASON: Let the other guys do the try-outs before our guests and YUM YUM people have to suffer from this. This time let all the ravers, the ellen aliens, dj hells and so forth do the try outs. We pull more people then them so let them do the dirty work first. We did it before for them (remember registratur), so – it’s only fair brother. And we we care about our people.

well folks, tuff night yesterday. the city delayed the opening of Puerto Giesing but didnt leave us hanging! They helped us get a new location and throw one final party at my favourite location so far – the Ex BMW spot @ Dachauerstr 92.

A brandnew YUM YUM Munich this saturday, April 17th @ Puerto Giesing, which is an old Hertie deparment store that is abandoned and open for artsy & cultural stuff (exhibitions, young designers and the likes). Kicking it off is once more the YUM YUM set & sound – and bringing you the latest YUM YUM tunes & feel good vibes this Saturday are – Djs Chrome, Not:fx & Max Mausser on the Main Floor. The 2nd floor will be run by my good friend and buddy Peshay from London/Uk (thats United Kingdom not Ukraine;-) & my matey Motive from the “too much fun crew”. You will be blown away by the location and the effort put into this venue – besides how often do you get to party in a Hertie/ department store on multiple Floors?

Next YUM YUM in munich is in 2 weeks on the 17th this month and mondays a holiday so the timings perfect.
